Overview
Our high-purity sapphire tubes are engineered for demanding applications requiring optical clarity, mechanical precision, and chemical resistance. Each tube features a polished outside diameter (OD) for visual inspection or optical/laser use, paired with a fine-ground inside diameter (ID) to ensure controlled friction, superior wear resistance, and reliable performance in precision assemblies.
Crafted from 99.9% single-crystal sapphire , these tubes outperform fused quartz and conventional ceramics under extreme thermal, mechanical, and chemical conditions. Ideal for semiconductor manufacturing, laser systems, medical fluidics, and other high-precision industrial applications.

Q1: Why choose a sapphire tube with a polished OD and fine-ground ID?
The polished OD allows optical monitoring or laser applications, while the fine-ground ID provides controlled friction, wear resistance, and better lubricant retention, making it ideal for fluidic systems and precision mechanical assemblies.
Q2: What are the maximum length and diameter you can produce?
We can manufacture sapphire tubes up to 250 mm in length and up to φ250 mm in diameter, covering micro-fluidic components as well as large industrial tubes.
Q3: Can you ensure high concentricity between OD and ID?
Yes. Our precision CNC grinding ensures concentricity up to 0.02 mm and parallelism as tight as 2 Arc Seconds, critical for high-pressure seals and optical alignment.
Q4: Is the tube resistant to strong acids, such as hydrofluoric acid (HF)?
Sapphire is highly resistant to most acids and alkalis, outperforming quartz in durability. For extremely concentrated HF, please consult us for confirmation, but standard semiconductor etching conditions are fully supported.
Q5: Can you produce custom dimensions or drawings?
Absolutely. We specialize in custom sapphire components. Whether you need micro-capillaries or large protective sleeves, we can manufacture precisely according to your STEP or CAD files.
